A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is seeking experienced Anesthesia Specialists and Consultants to join its established clinical team.
The role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped hospital environment providing comprehensive anesthesia services across a wide range of surgical specialties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based perioperative care and managing patients across the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and determine appropriate anesthesia plans based on individual patient needs and clinical risk.
- Administer and manage general, regional, and other appropriate anesthesia techniques for a broad range of surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients closely throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition.
- Provide effective perioperative management for complex, high-risk, and emergency cases.
- Ensure appropriate post-operative pain management and patient recovery.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, emergency physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in emergency response and critical care activities where required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with established clinical standards and patient-safety protocols.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and continuing professional development initiatives.
- Support junior physicians and contribute to teaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities where applicable.
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia/Anaesthesiology.
- Relevant specialist or consultant-level clinical experience.
- Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board are encouraged to apply.
- Strong experience in perioperative and anesthesia management, including complex and emergency cases.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a tertiary, teaching, or government hospital environment is advantageous.
