Job summary

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman seeks a qualified Consultant in Anesthesia to provide safe anesthesia care across diverse procedures. You will monitor patients, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold MBBS or equivalent, completed residency in Anesthesiology, board certification or fellowship, and a valid license with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Completion of a recognized residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Anesthesia.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a tertiary care hospital.
• Strong clinical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
• Assess patients’ medical history and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Manage pain control and post-operative care.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
