The ideal candidate holds an MBBS or equivalent, residency in Anesthesiology, board certification or fellowship, and a valid medical license, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a tertiary care setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of a recognized residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Anesthesia preferred.
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
• Assess patients’ medical history and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Manage pain control and post-operative care.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and international standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education.
