Job description

@ICM Group is hiring for the position of ANDT Technician (PAUT/TOFD) in the UAE. Interested candidates should apply through the provided link.

Requirements include:

  • Having a PCN certificate in PAUT and TOFD.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience as a PAUT/TOFD technician after obtaining the certificate.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience as an SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or an approved equivalent.
  • For PAUT, TOFD, and AUT, at least 5 years of experience following the relevant PCN certification is mandatory.

Academic qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or an approved equivalent.

Job Objective: To support the operation department with designated NDT scope of work and maintain health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department.

Key Responsibilities/Duties include:

  • Performing tube & tank inspections and interpreting IRIS RFT ECT MFL SECT data.
  • Performing inspections and interpretations of PAUT and TOFD.
  • Carrying out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) if qualified.
  • Interpreting industrial codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Reviewing inspection results for acceptability.
  • Performing visual inspections.
  • Following approved test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Documenting inspection results and preparing reports.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in the workplace.

Specialized Knowledge: Experience with NDT equipment and familiarity with manual and computerized reporting.

Abilities & Skills: Good communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory.
