Detailed Job Description:

As an Analytics Consultant supporting leading banking, FinTech, and payments clients in Dubai via Dicetek, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of data analysis, statistical modeling, and dashboard development. Your day-to-day responsibilities include extracting and analyzing large volumes of transactional data using SQL and Python/R, designing machine learning and statistical models, and developing executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional business stakeholders in retail banking, merchant acquiring, cards, and payments domains to identify operational efficiencies, optimize transaction flows, and deliver robust data products. Furthermore, you will ensure data quality, conduct rigorous data validation, and maintain comprehensive documentation of analytical methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets across banking, payments, merchant acquiring, and retail domains using SQL and Python/R.
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced statistical models, data science solutions, and AI/ML prototypes.
• Build and maintain interactive executive dashboards, visual metrics, and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Partner directly with senior business stakeholders and product teams in retail banking, cards, and FinTech sectors.
• Conduct rigorous statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis to uncover business growth opportunities.
• Optimize transaction routing, merchant acquisition metrics, and customer analytics pipelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to data governance, accuracy, and security standards across all reporting deliverables.
• Present analytical findings, strategic recommendations, and data-driven insights to executive leadership and clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum of 1 to 5 years of professional experience in Analytics, Data Science, Banking, FinTech, Payments, or related domains.
• Strong hands-on technical proficiency in SQL and Python or R programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience in applying AI/ML algorithms, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Hands-on professional experience with enterprise dashboarding and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Strong domain familiarity with Payments, Merchant Acquiring, Cards, or Retail Banking.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business value.
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work in the UAE with local residency or availability for on-site operations in Dubai.
