General Purpose
The Q&A Analyst ensures our infrastructure, products, and services meet quality standards and expectations. This position will identify defects, analyze test results, recommend improvements, and work with relevant business partners to ensure successful deployments and enhancements. This role will participate in test plan development, case design, monitor QA metrics, and meet regularly with business units, partners, and project team members.
Essential Duties
- Testing: Conduct various types of testing, including compatibility testing, integration testing, system & performance testing, regression testing as well as end-user testing to identify defects and ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
- Defect Tracking & Reporting: Document and report defects, using bug tracking systems, to development teams
- Test Plan Development: QA analysts develop and implement detailed test plans to cover various scenarios and ensure products meet user expectations
- Data Analysis: Analyze test results, create reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality considerations are integrated throughout the development lifecycle
- Process Improvement: Contribute to improving processes, such as test automation and quality standards, to enhance the overall quality of products
- Compliance: Ensure products meet industry and business related regulations and standards
Skills/ Knowledge
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently
- Quick problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc)
- Previous experience with network infrastructure, virtualization platforms, hospitality & gaming systems
