Job description

1. JOB PURPOSE :

Support in the coordination and implementation of planning processes across the Shared Services Business Unit to ensure quality submissions are provided on a timely basis. Provides timely updates by coordinating with ADNOC with regards to the Shared Services Business Unit performance and ensure business strategy realization by embedding, monitoring and reporting performance objectives and Shared Services Business Unit Project milestones. Develop People KPIs - Level 1 & 2 in line with ADNOC's strategic objectives and plans and lead and promote diversity initiatives at workplace across the company.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

  1. Coordinate the overall approved Shared Services Business Unit business performance targets and KPIs while ensuring smooth approval process and communication of agreed annual performance targets with the KPI owners.
  2. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the Corporate Performance Management System (CPMS) to ensure efficiency of corporate reporting and timely availability of the information required for decision making of the management.
  3. Administer the development of appropriate tools and systems to support the monitoring of the company's performance with development of periodical planning & performance reports for management on the progress, analyse the performance scores and trends, and identifying gaps.
  4. Develop the KPIs for the Shared Services Business Unit and provide support to all functions in the company as well as other functions to support achieving Shared Services Business Unit targets in line with the ADNOC Mandate.
  5. Conduct periodical People Performance Shared Services Business Unit review and challenging sessions with the various functions, monitor and report the execution of KPIs Level 1 & Level 2 of the HC Division Business Unit.
  6. Conduct awareness sessions to ensure that all objectives, assumptions, and the need for adherence to targets are appreciated and understood within the Shared Services Business Unit.
  7. Execute and coordinate the agreed business planning objectives to all concerned stakeholders within the Shared Services Business Unit to ensure accurate accountability.
  8. Monitor and follow-up the progress towards the delivery of the Shared Services Business Unit performance objectives.
  9. Develop, implement and manage a project tracking process to ensure the delivery of Shared Services Business Unit project goals and objectives and provide feedback for project management improvements.
  10. Report actual versus planned Human Capital, Business Support, Procurement & Digital divisions performance monthly basis to SVP SS and the Vice Presidents as required.
  11. Assist in the realization of the Shared Services Business Unit Strategy by ensuring achievement of strategic projects' milestones as defined by Corporate.
  12. Perform other similar or related duties, as required.

Supervision

  1. Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  2. Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

  1. Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  2. Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  1. Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section's work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  2. Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.

Performance Management

  1. Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  1. Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  2. Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

  1. Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

  1. Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

3. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

  1. Frequent contact with Manager, Planning & Support to provide information, analysis & reports, and take directions.
  2. Frequent contact with Team members to receive information, give feedback, and provide instructions.
  3. Frequent contact with other Department Managers, Team Leaders & Analysts/Officer within the Business Unit to provide and obtain information.

External

  1. Occasional contact with ADNOC Group for benchmarking purposes, exchanging information, work coordination and knowledge sharing.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration discipline.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  1. 5 - 6 years of experience, including at least diversified experience in Human Capital Planning, Strategy & Corporate Performance management, with at least 3 years in an Oil/Gas industry.
  2. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  3. Proficient in English.
