Job description

Charterhouse is currently working with an investment client who is looking to identify and recruit an Analyst of Finance & Operations. At the Analyst level, this role, supporting the front office, will focus on trade processing and settlements, as well as monitoring and managing cash positions and bank reconciliations.

This role will also involve data management, documentation, and trade support activities. The Analyst will be responsible for finance and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate journal entries and maintenance of general ledgers across investment portfolios.

From a middle office and trade support perspective, the Analyst will support audit trail activities and be capable of delivering management reports and handling ad-hoc projects related to investment operations.

Key criteria for this role include technical competency, industry background, and strong reporting and communication skills. The candidate should have two to three years of experience in a middle office, trade support, or operations role within a banking or financial services institution. Knowledge of derivatives, equities, and swap instruments is essential.
