Job description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Review, Analyse and prepare credit memo with all customer details. Initiate field visit for customers who are eligible for loan after initial analysis.
  • Recommend and prepare loan proposals keeping in mind the policies, procedures and standard operating procedures in mind.
  • Adhere to and comply with departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and practices so that work is carried out in a smooth and methodical manner.
  • Exhibit consistency with organisation's values and ethics always to demonstrate a value driven culture within the bank.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and methods in line with changing needs and requirements to efficiently carry out our duties.

Job Context

  • Analyse clients financial statements, bank statements and/or Audited Financial Statements, investigate the client's credit history/credit reports to meet bank's lending standards.
  • Possess thorough, in-depth knowledge on financials includes verifying figures, cash flow data, income statement. Analysing different ratios and presenting financial analysis to the delegated authority.
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of documentation to avoid fraud.
  • In depth analysis of all loan related to borrower's financial ratios like turnover ratios, debt service coverage ratio to ensure error free underwriting and ensuring that loan amount proposed is in line with policy of the bank.
  • Review and analyse restructure requests given by existing loan customers and recommend restructure in line with bank's policy.
  • Review deferral/waiver requests given by existing customers and recommend the same keeping in mind the credit risk involved.
  • Process of loan applications and service requests efficiently and within agreed timelines.
  • Verify checks through various FAB application systems like: OBIEE, Vision Plus, Globus, Intellect, Customer Connect & also from external systems like: AECB, Central bank checks (CBRB & CRS) & Firco.
  • To work under pressure without compromise on quality.
  • Ensure that all the approved loans and proposal related documents are complete and shared in the common folder to safeguard any missing or misplaced documents.
  • To perform any additional Job-Related tasks/projects as and when assigned by Line Manager.

Minimum Education required: Minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance/Banking/Commerce.
