Job summary

Talent Higher is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day delivery of an AML/CFT compliance framework within a Free Zone environment in Dubai. You will assist the Head of Compliance with client due diligence, sanctions and PEP screening, risk assessments, and reporting.

The role covers regulatory liaison, monitoring across the client portfolio, training staff, and preparing compliance reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• 3–5+ years AML/CFT compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML laws and risk management.
• Certifications such as CAMS/ICA/ACFCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review high-risk client applications, including KYC/EDD and risk ratings.
• Conduct and resolve PEP, sanctions, adverse media, and screening alerts.
• Escalate high-risk clients and sanction matches to senior management.
• Reassess risk after trigger events and apply enhanced due diligence.
• Identify and report suspicious activity via UAE FIU goAML.
• Serve as operational contact for UAE regulators and respond to requests.
• Deliver quarterly AML/CFT awareness training to staff.
• Prepare compliance reports on high-risk clients and overall performance.
