Job description

JOB TITLE
Allocator | MAF Lifestyle | Planning & Merchandising

ROLE SUMMARY

The Allocator is the main point of contact for suppliers to ensure all goods arrive on time and maintain stock accuracy across stores. The role will be responsible for allocating new stock to the stores and ensuring timely launch for each new season and replenishment.

Role Profile
  1. Support the Merchandising team in managing stock availability, transfer, and allocation as advised by the Senior Planner.
  2. Responsible for the timely allocation of products to stores to minimize loss of sales.
  3. Establish strong relationships across the Planning & Merchandising team and stores to better understand merchandising strategies and business needs.
  4. Manage the product lifecycle from initial allocation, including replenishment and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels.
  5. Ensure high standards of reporting and data accuracy.
  6. Conduct regular store visits with the team.
  7. Liaise closely with warehouses, stores, and other Head Office departments.
  8. Contribute to and support the business in achieving the Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy.
Requirements
  1. High School Certificate.
  2. A degree in a related subject is an advantage.
  3. 1-year experience in the retail industry.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
