Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island is seeking a Kitchen Commis I to assist chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food preparation.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year experience in a luxury setting, strong English communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Competitive salary, accommodation, and employee meals are offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
• Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.

About the role

The Al Meylas Kitchen Commis I assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard & quality of food preparation.

What you will do

• Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.
• Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.

What you bring

• A minimum of at least 1 year of experience in the similar role in a luxury brand
• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
• High level of understanding and knowledge of kitchen operations
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
