Job summary

Serco is seeking an ELV Systems Technician in Dubai to perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electronic equipment and ELV systems. You will work solo or in a team, following safety instructions and Serco procedures to minimize operational disruption.

The role requires strong English communication, hands-on ELV troubleshooting, and experience with BMS and regulatory standards. A drive to ensure data integrity and adherence to safety policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Electronic System maintenance or equivalent.
• IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
• Current valid UAE driving license is desirable.
• Minimum six (6) year experience within an electronics / ELV maintenance or similar environment.
• Airport experience is considered as added advantage for this position.
• Very good level of spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate with staff, stakeholders and customers in oral and written English.
• Working knowledge in MS Office (Word / Excel / Power point).
• Ability to perform safely and correctly the following on complex extra low (ELV) equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conform to general and specific technical safety requirements to ensure health, safety and welfare at work.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports and CMMS work orders.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on electronic/ELV systems in a logical, methodical manner.
• Set up and use electrical test equipment and interpret results on ELV systems.
• Ensure compliance with Serco Management System and governance standards.
• Report accidents, incidents, breaches, or potential breaches to management or via Speak Up process.
