Job description

Airframe And Powerplant Technician-UAE - SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES

Qualifications:

• You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining aircraft (military, rotary, or fixed wing)
• Experience with business jets (preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Must own and maintain a complete set of basic hand tools
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including outdoors in inclement weather
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, maintenance tracking software, etc.)
• GCAA & EASA License Holder (B1 &/or B2)
• Type Rating on Global BD-700 series &/or CL-600 series
• CAT-C License on BD-700 or CL-600 series, desirable
• 7-10 years of experience working on Global or Challenger Aircrafts
• Line Maintenance Experience is preferred
• Team Player, able to work in 12-hour shifts

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines of fixed-wing and/or rotary aircraft.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues, and perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and FAA regulations.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and other technical documents.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintenance logs accurately, including parts usage and labor hours.
• Operate ground support equipment and obtain necessary qualifications for its use.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients regarding aircraft status and maintenance needs.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained, controlled, and calibrated.
• Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in required training programs and stay current with changes in technology and regulatory requirements.
