Job description
Synopsis

Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.

Accountabilities
  • Ensure IFE maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
  • Execute and sign off all IFE related tasks.
  • Visit and troubleshoot any Aircraft reported with an IFE failure.
  • Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand.
  • Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft.
  • Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work.
  • Develop one self and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development.
  • Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution & proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters.
  • Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company’s ethics.
  • Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached.
  • Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.
Education & Experience
  • Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAO II, EASA 66 + GCAA). Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • 2 years Line/Base Maintenance Environment.
  • Any of the: Panasonic eX2, eX3, Thales or SAFRAN SPI is mandatory.
