Job summary

The Emirates Group is seeking an experienced Procurement Controller in Dubai to lead spares purchasing, BFE and retrofit material management for Emirates Engineering. You will manage supplier relationships, ensure timely sourcing, and control costs to support high aircraft dispatch reliability.

In this role you will analyse workload, drive KPI performance, and oversee invoicing and stores control. A strong aviation procurement background and leadership experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement or materials management within aviation preferred.
• Leadership experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or purchasing environment.
• Knowledge of repair, warranty, stores, inventory and quality interfaces in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Perform Resource Workload Analysis to assess resource needs and optimisations.
• Establish effective relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors; act as escalation point.
• Ensure timely sourcing, purchasing and borrowing of BFE, Retrofit/Repairable items and breakdown spares.
• Authorize release of purchase orders up to approved financial limits and obtain higher approvals as required.
• Monitor overdues, backlogs, vendor performance and other KPIs to drive performance.
• Oversee price and lead time reviews with CMU and challenge variances.
• Ensure timely clearance of invoices and stores discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Analyze supply chain data and recommend system/process improvements.
• Oversee ordering for BFE and Major Retrofits aligning with contracts and budgets.
