Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an ICT/Computing teacher to deliver a curriculum focused on digital literacy, computational thinking, programming basics and introductory AI concepts for K-12 students in Dubai. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Ed Tech, has 2+ years of ICT teaching experience, and a UAE Teacher's License or eligibility.

You will design engaging lessons, promote safe use of technology, assess progress and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Ed Tech or related field.
• Minimum 2 years teaching ICT/Computing; AI concepts experience desirable.
• Valid UAE Teacher's License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Familiarity with MOE ICT curriculum standards and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ICT/Computing lessons covering digital literacy, computational thinking, programming basics and intro AI concepts.
• Design engaging hands-on lessons using software, coding platforms and AI tools.
• Promote safe and ethical use of technology and AI; embed digital citizenship.
• Assess student progress and report to parents.
• Integrate ICT and AI across the curriculum with other teachers.
• Maintain ICT lab/equipment and coordinate with IT for needs.
• Stay current with educational tech and AI tools for K-12.
• Support school digital initiatives, coding clubs and showcases.
• Differentiate instruction for varying levels of digital competency.
• Participate in CPD, department meetings and parent-teacher conferences.
