Job summary

IC Markets Global is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems at scale, blending software engineering with applied artificial intelligence for trading-focused solutions. You will develop Python services with FastAPI, architect agent workflows for chat, search and retrieval, and implement LangChain, vector databases, and comprehensive testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, backend with Python.
• 1–2+ years deploying ML/AI systems in production.
• Proficient in Python and production quality code.
• Experience in NLP, RAG, embeddings, vector databases (Qdrant, Milvus).
• Deep expertise with LangChain and/or LlamaIndex.
• Strong Langsmith knowledge, Evaluation Benchmarking and Tracing.
• Prompt engineering and agent testing methodologies.
• Understanding of LLM inference pipelines (local/cloud).
• Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• APIs design with microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy production-ready Python services powering AI capabilities, leveraging FastAPI for robust API development.
• Architect and fine-tune end-to-end agent workflows supporting chat, search, and retrieval use cases.
• Develop intelligent agents using LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith, encompassing prompt engineering, integration, and comprehensive testing.
• Integrate and optimise vector databases (Qdrant, Milvus, etc.) for embeddings management, high-speed lookups, and hybrid search functionality.
• Continuously evaluate and monitor agent performance to ensure reliability, accuracy, and consistency in production environments.
• Optimise agent systems for reduced latency, cost efficiency, and horizontal scalability.
