Job summary

Zofeur is seeking a Video Editor - Post Production & AI to craft compelling video content for Dubai and beyond. You will shape narratives, edit across formats, and weave AI-generated elements into storytelling while maintaining brand integrity.

You will collaborate with the Creative Lead and Marketing team to translate briefs into polished outputs for paid media, social, CRM, and digital platforms, keeping pace in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing and post-production work.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, shot selection, composition, sound design, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong understanding of visual hooks, sound hooks, editing hooks, and audience retention.
• Experience creating polished creative content for brands, agencies, or digital-first businesses.
• Good understanding of social-first content, performance advertising creatives, and digital video formats.
• Ability to turn raw footage into engaging and well-structured video content.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content for digital platforms.
• Create strong and engaging video edits with clear storytelling, pacing, visual hooks, sound hooks, and editing hooks.
• Select the strongest footage and build compelling sequences from raw material.
• Develop content for platforms including Instagram, Meta, YouTube, TikTok, CRM, paid media, and other digital channels.
• Understand how to adapt editing style depending on the platform, audience, campaign objective, and content format.
• Create performance-focused video ads that communicate messages clearly and effectively.
• Adapt master creatives into multiple formats and aspect ratios, including 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9.
• Work closely with the Creative Lead and Marketing team to translate briefs and concepts into strong visual executions.
• Create and integrate AI-generated shots and visual elements into video productions.
• Use generative AI tools to generate new video shots.
• Extend or modify existing footage using AI.
• Create environments and backgrounds.
• Develop cinematic transitions and sequences.
• Explore and visualize creative concepts before production.
• Combine AI-generated content with traditional footage in a way that feels natural, polished, and visually consistent.
• Create motion graphics, typography animation, transitions, and visual effects when required.
• Handle sound design, music selection, SFX, basic audio mixing, and video finishing.
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative output.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Stay updated with new developments in video editing, content trends, generative AI, and creative technology.
