Job summary

ByteDance invites an ambitious student to join as a Project Intern within an intelligent enterprise-services team. You will work closely with product, design, and cross-regional engineering teams to deliver short-term projects in a fast-paced environment.

Contribute to backend services and AI-driven features, learn coding standards, and write clear technical documentation. A strong foundation in data structures and distributed systems is expected, with proficiency in Golang/Java/Python.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Computer Science, AI, Information Management or related technical discipline.
• Available to start immediately, ideally within one week.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computer systems.
• Proficiency in one or more of Golang / Java / Python.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with or hands-on experience in AI Agent architectural patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend services and Agent runtime with focus on quality and maintainability.
• Assist in integrating internal enterprise systems into Agents via Tools / MCP / CLI / A2A.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Write AI-friendly technical documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Explore embedding AI capabilities into backend services and support AI-driven feature development.
