Job summary

Phoenician Technical Services in Dubai is seeking an Agriculture Site Engineer to lead daily site operations, manage resources, and supervise staff. The role requires coordinating irrigation, planting, landscaping, and maintenance activities to meet project timelines with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in agricultural, landscaping, irrigation, or site operations.
• Good knowledge of agricultural site practices and equipment.
• Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage site personnel.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate operational decisions within assigned authority.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• A team player with proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily agricultural and site operations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, machinery, materials, and other site resources.
• Assign tasks to supervisors, workers, and operators, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor irrigation, planting, cultivation, landscaping, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct site inspections to assess work quality, progress, and operational requirements.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available before scheduled activities begin.
• Maintain records of manpower, equipment usage, materials, and site progress.
• Coordinate with project management, other departments, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and company requirements.
• Identify and report delays, resource shortages, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
• Monitor the proper use and maintenance of company machinery, tools, and materials.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
