In this role you will:
- Facilitate key ceremonies such as PI planning and Review, and play a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools supporting the Agile framework. Coach team members as needed to optimize the efficiency of the Release Train team.
- Act as a Champion in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach, tailoring the right proportions to fit initiatives of all sizes. Provide the right balance of agility and predictability based on PMI-ACP principles.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or retribution, emphasizing healing and problem-solving.
- Support and support the team(s) using a servant leadership style whenever possible, leading by example.
- Facilitate task completion through servant leadership, encouraging discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Drive quality assurance by ensuring adherence to the Definition of Done (DoD), engaging each team member in meaningful contributions.
- Encourage a sustainable pace in line with the agreed quality management plan. Maintain agile project management tools (e.g., ScrumDesk, JIRA).
- Assist in team development by holding teams accountable, removing roadblocks, leveraging cross-functional skills, and mentoring team members.
- Attend regular stand-ups and scrum of scrums to monitor progress, identify issues, and communicate external concerns as necessary.
- Support the Technical Product Manager in managing business expectations and maintaining transparency in the product backlog and schedules.
- Define and promote continuous process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices for Agile Delivery Management. Establish agile governance with key ceremonies and evaluate team performance metrics such as velocity and defect rates.
- Assist with cost estimation and sizing exercises for current and future initiatives, and help prepare total cost of ownership with the product team.
- Collaborate with the product team to support RFx phases in procurement and schedule activities related to the product lifecycle.
