Aerospace Coordinator with a Leading UAE Airline

Job Purpose:

Responsible for serving as the central point of communication and coordination, ensuring the efficient resolution of logistical and operational challenges during AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations. The role focuses on minimizing downtime by facilitating the prompt delivery of required parts, services, and solutions through effective collaboration with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and respond promptly to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requests on a 24/7 basis, ensuring immediate action to minimize downtime.
2. Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple AOG cases to meet critical deadlines.
3. Arrange the shipment and delivery of aircraft parts and equipment using air or ground transportation.
4. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, airlines, and international partners to secure expedited deliveries.
5. Track shipments and provide real-time updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for airlines, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities, and suppliers during AOG situations.
7. Provide timely updates to both internal and external customers regarding the status of AOG cases.
8. Escalate critical issues when required and propose alternative solutions to mitigate delays.
9. Ensure all shipments comply with customs and regulatory requirements, accompanied by the necessary documentation.
10. Maintain comprehensive records of AOG cases, including timelines, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference and analysis.

Operational Excellence:

1. Coordinate logistics activities related to cargo operations.
2. Improve AOG response processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce resolution times, and achieve performance benchmarks.
