The Opportunity

We are seeking an associate director or director to join our growing team within HKA, based in the Middle East Region. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has engaged with giga delivery organizations and real estate developers across the Middle East to provide advisory services related to delivery setup, delivery models, performance monitoring, controls, and governance solutions.

HKA's Advisory business in the Middle East provides strategic advice to a range of organizations, including large government entities, investors, developers, and engineering contractors.

Reporting to a Partner within Advisory, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing innovative infrastructure delivery models, including contracting and procurement strategies for major, complex, or high-value construction projects.
• Delivering procurement transactions in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, water, roads, rail, oil & gas, entertainment, hospitality, and housing.
• Leading complex commercial negotiations related to construction delivery contracts and programs.
• Establishing collaborative delivery models for some of the region's largest giga projects and programs.
• Supporting business development initiatives and meeting sales and revenue targets to grow the business.

Skills And Experience

We seek individuals with proven project experience, deep knowledge of construction commercial principles, and a willingness to learn and grow:

• Degree in engineering, business, quantity surveying, law, commerce, or related fields.
• Leadership and management skills, with initiative and strategic thinking to overcome challenges.
• Commitment to supporting and developing team members.
• Experience with strategic transformations and build-operate models for complex giga programs in the Middle East.
• Experience developing operating models, portfolio assessments, and procurement strategies for engineering design and construction projects.
• Experience with collaborative contracting and incentive regimes.
• Proficiency in developing contracts with legal support and negotiating with suppliers to reduce risks.
• Experience managing tender processes from requirements gathering to contract award.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong time management skills in a multi-requirement environment.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes.
• Proven business development skills and success in converting opportunities.
