Job summary

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional Advisor Safety, Health & Environment (Site) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs across our site operations. You will work collaboratively with management and staff to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational standards while fostering a strong safety culture.

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with UAE regulations and international standards
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; analyze root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, records, and reports for regulatory compliance and internal review
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs to employees at all organizational levels
• Audit safety management systems and processes to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices
• Collaborate with site management and operational teams to develop emergency response and disaster management plans
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on health, safety, and environmental matters
• Stay current with changes in safety legislation and industry standards applicable to site operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience (minimum 7 years) in occupational health and safety advisory or management roles within industrial or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC health and safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, hazard identification, and incident investigation techniques
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing safety management systems and procedures
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 or equivalent occupational health and safety management standards
