Job summary

NMC Healthcare seeks a certified Emergency Medical Technician to respond to emergency calls from Abu Dhabi with readiness of ambulance and medical equipment. You will perform basic life support, patient assessment, and transport coordination while maintaining vehicle readiness and ensuring infection control standards.

Requirements include DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi, BLS/PHTLS, and fluency in English. Two years of EMT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Be trained as EMT with valid license and BLS/PHTLS where required.
English fluency in speaking and writing is essential.
Abu Dhabi DOH license to practice is required.

Responsibilities

Responds to medical emergencies and provides basic life support prior to transport.
Assess patients and determine appropriate actions, including airway management and vital signs.
Provide care with AED, CPR, spinal immobilization, oxygen, and bleeding control.
Administer appropriate medications and monitor patient status en route to facility.
Maintain ambulance and equipment and restock supplies after calls.
Coordinate with police, hospital staff, and other responders.
