We’re looking for a results-oriented Sales Account Manager who is passionate about partnering with our advertisers to make effective, data-driven marketing decisions. As a Sales Account Manager, you will manage and deliver against advertiser goals and problems to drive revenue and achieve targets. You will nurture customer relationships, identify and close revenue-driving actions, and develop your client’s portfolio. Additionally, you will leverage Amazon’s proprietary data to provide strategic and personalized campaign recommendations across Search, Video, and Display products. This role is highly collaborative, working with Creative, Sales, Product, and Retail partners. The Sales Account Manager’s strategic digital expertise is critical to unlocking greater value and impact for our advertisers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strive to delight our customers by becoming a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Ads solutions
  • Take a consultative approach to optimizing customers’ advertising campaigns through data and Amazon insights
  • Manage a portfolio of advertisers using business analytics to proactively identify and realize revenue and performance opportunities
  • Support the ongoing independent growth and success of these advertisers by evaluating KPIs and optimizing campaign performance analytically
  • Educate advertisers on performance metrics, insights, and achieving better results on Amazon
  • Monitor account performance for optimal ROI and advertiser satisfaction
  • Retain and grow revenue from your existing advertisers
  • Achieve upsell goals through insight-driven recommendations

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital advertising or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence internally and externally
  • Ability to interpret large data sets to make recommendations to clients or internal partners
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, deliver results, and drive change in loosely defined situations
  • Strong MS Office skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Display advertising sales or marketing experience
