About The Position

The objective of the Administrative Coordinator position is to provide direct administrative and professional support to the Director of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and assist in coordinating all related academic, business, and operational activities of the OIE to ensure quality assurance and enhancement of all academic and non-academic functions at GSU-TAI.


Position Summary

The Compliance Coordinator supports the Director of the OIE in all business and operational functions to ensure quality assurance of GSU. Responsibilities include reviewing, managing, and maintaining university policies and procedures, and ensuring continuous compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. This role is vital in maintaining accreditation status and legal compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide management/support for the OIE
  2. Manage administrative and academic activities of the OIE
  3. Schedule meetings with academic and non-academic stakeholders
  4. Review documentation as instructed
  5. Develop and maintain minutes of meetings and action items
  6. Organize filing systems for the OIE
  7. Assist in planning quality assurance activities and workshops
  8. Disseminate technical materials to stakeholders
  9. Contribute to OIE website content maintenance
  10. Manage appointments, calendars, and schedules
  11. Assist in planning meetings and activities
  12. Handle confidential documents
  13. Proficient in office equipment use
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Preferred Professional Experience
  • At least 5 years in higher education or research institutions
  • Experience supporting multiple units within academic organizations
