A leading company in construction design is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide varied administrative support for exciting projects. The role involves document management, client interaction, and maintaining office operations. Ideal candidates will have strong Microsoft Office skills and experience in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
The Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive and varied administrative support related to our exciting and award-winning construction design projects. Key duties will include producing documents, filing, printing, binding, photocopying, and scanning documents, assisting with events, and arranging meeting rooms for meetings, seminars, interviews, etc. The role will also include reception cover and dealing with general inquiries via telephone, email, and in person.
You will act as a crucial point of contact for our external clients, internal staff, and senior management for ad-hoc administration and generally support the administrative needs of our busy engineering teams. Additionally, you will ensure the office and kitchen areas are well maintained and run general errands both on and off-site as required.
The Skills
With proven practical administration and diary management experience within a fast-paced and complex organization, you possess excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly with MS Word and Excel, and have a highly organized, flexible, and proactive approach to your work. You are accustomed to managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines, utilizing your initiative, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.
You have experience taking instructions from multiple stakeholders, managing expectations, and delivering consistent, excellent service. Experience working within an international partnership or engineering consultancy is desirable.
