Job description

We are currently looking for a qualified UAE National based in Abu Dhabi, for the position of Administrative Assistant.

Open exclusively to UAE Nationals residing in Abu Dhabi only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Government Relations team and management
  • Prepare and process documentation related to visa applications, Emirates ID, labour contracts, and other government transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of employee/crew and company government-related documents
  • Coordinate with GROs and external departments for submission and collection of official paperwork
  • Keep accurate records of documents such as visas, licenses, security passes, and other government-related permits
  • Schedule and follow up on appointments and submissions related to government affairs
  • Draft formal letters and applications in both Arabic and English addressed to UAE government authorities
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for all GR-related records
  • Assist with internal reporting and documentation required by other departments
  • Obtain quotations for services/products when required
  • Create and complete the process for all relevant office purchase orders
  • Coordinate internally with relevant departments to ensure timely completion of government-related requirements
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Government Relations Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Emirati national with Family Book only
  • Prior experience in an administrative role, preferably within Government Relations or HR in the UAE
  • Working knowledge of UAE government portals (MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Discretion, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive information
  • High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with government departments and GROs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with UAE labour and immigration laws
  • Ability to work independently and in coordination with a team
