Safety Officer – Construction (UAE)

Confidential Company – Immediate Joiner – Construction Site – UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Plan, deliver and supervise HSE training programmes for staff and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions and maintain accurate HSE documentation.
• Collaborate with local authorities and utilities to support fire safety systems and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years experience in safety management for construction or related sector.
• NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent) and a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental regulations and international best practices.

Location & Travel
