Milliman's Dubai Health Practice is looking for an actuarial professional with more than 6 years of experience who has a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, is committed to obtaining Fellowship, and has a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.
Educational requirements
An undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative coursework.
A minimum of 10 actuarial exams with a recognized professional actuarial organization, preferably Associate level reached.
Outstanding academic record.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience and skill requirements
Minimum 6 years of actuarial experience, with at least part of the experience in health-related work.
Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability.
Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
Working knowledge of actuarial concepts specific to health systems, such as utilization vs cost, clinical coding systems, Diagnosis-Related Groupers, value-based healthcare, etc.
Client-facing experience, including drafting and reviewing formal actuarial reports, as well as presentation of technical content to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal).
Good organizational skills.
Willingness to learn.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
