Job summary

GIG Gulf in Dubai is seeking an Actuarial Analyst with 3–5 years of P&C or Healthcare reserving experience to drive data‑driven insights that shape healthcare profitability.

You’ll build and refine reserving models (Chain Ladder, Mack, Bootstrap, Bornhuetter-Ferguson), perform profitability analyses, and contribute to IFRS17 reporting, while collaborating across actuarial, IT, risk, and audit teams using SQL, Python, R, C++, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of P&C or Healthcare actuarial reserving experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Experience with IFRS17 is a plus
• Strong SQL, Python, R, and data visualization skills
• Ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly reserving tasks for Healthcare and P&C lines
• Develop reserving models (Chain Ladder, Mack, Bootstrap, Bornhuetter-Ferguson)
• Conduct profitability analyses for Healthcare segments
• Support IFRS17 reporting and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with actuarial, IT, risk, and audit teams
• Contribute to ad-hoc studies and data governance initiatives
