Actuarial Analyst

General Overview:

Our Client, a Leading Multinational Insurance company, is looking to hire an Actuarial Analyst to join their Team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and balancing profitability and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of pricing strategies for renewals and new business quotations.
  
• Manage a portfolio of accounts and balance profitability & revenue.
  
• Collaborate with Account managers, sales team, and brokers to ensure clients' expectations on product and pricing are met.
  
• Conduct analytical reviews to identify and understand trends, patterns, and insights that are used to successfully manage the portfolio.
  
• Provide concise, clear, and decisive instructions on risk exposure.
  
• Support the rest of the underwriters on the team to balance the workload.
  
• Be market aware; understand the competitive and regulatory landscape.
  

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of insurance experience in health underwriting.
  
• Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, actuarial science, or similar.
  
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of the products offered and regulatory environment in GCC markets.
