Conduct noise and vibration assessments for construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects.
Use software modeling tools to analyze acoustics and predict noise levels.
Design and recommend noise mitigation solutions, including barriers, absorptive materials, and building design modifications.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and environmental impact assessments.
Perform on-site acoustic measurements and monitoring using specialized equipment.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (e.g., BS 8233, WHO, ISO, local codes).
Support planning applications with expert noise and vibration input.
Keep up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies.
Bachelors degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in acoustic consulting or a related discipline.
Proficiency in acoustic modeling software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon).
Strong knowledge of environmental noise regulations and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Valid driving license (for site visits, if applicable).
Masters degree in Acoustics or related discipline.
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) or equivalent.
Experience in building acoustics and room acoustics design.
Knowledge of BIM and CAD tools.
