Accountant Supervisor - Receivable
Responsibilities include:
- Review the city ledger, prepare invoices, and verify purchase slips efficiently and in compliance with all policies.
- Transfer daily city ledger data from the Front Office system to the Back Office Accounts Receivable module.
- Verify the total transfer with city ledger folios.
- Review city ledger folios with supporting documents such as charge slips and LPOs.
- Follow up on billing instructions, LPOs, and supporting documents as needed.
- Prepare invoices and obtain signatures from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
- Send original invoices with supporting documents to customers and file copies appropriately.
- Calculate commissions for credit card payments received.
- Issue receipts for cash and cheque payments, including credit card transactions.
- Hand over all cash receipts to the General Cashier with receipt copies.
- Prepare and submit employee city ledger summaries to the Paymaster by the 25th of each month.
Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences
Applicants should have a degree in hotel management or accounting, with at least one year of experience in a hotel environment. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy are essential. Knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is advantageous.
