About the Role:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk who is detail-oriented, accurate, and discreet. Your main responsibilities will include managing guest and group billings, ensuring balances are accurate, and maintaining efficient accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely billing and adherence to credit policies
• Maintain a filing system for receivable records
• Balance daily transfers to city ledger and update accounts receivable system
• Handle correspondence and queries related to city ledger accounts
• Review daily postings for accuracy and take corrective actions when necessary
• Review daily high balance reports and manage over-credit accounts
• Reconcile accounts and maintain batch registers
• Write off overdues at month-end after verification
• Prepare journals for account transfers
• Coordinate with guests and departments to meet account requirements
• Communicate with external companies for goods and services supply
• Assist with credit issuance, follow-ups, and account management
• Attend meetings to prevent billing discrepancies
• Update collection records with remarks
• Assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-2 years of hotel accounting experience or similar
• Professional accounting certification preferred
• Strong administrative and operational skills
• Outgoing personality with a passion for service excellence
• Team-player attitude and flexibility
