Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. in Dubai is seeking an Accounts Receivable Lead to own the end-to-end receivables lifecycle across UAE markets, spanning modern trade, traditional retail, food service (HORECA) and distribution channels.

You will lead AR accountants and cashiers, optimize cash flow, reduce DSO, and ensure accurate reconciliations, while driving SAP ERP workflow improvements and adherence to UAE VAT.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of overall accounting experience with at least 3 years in a senior or lead AR role within FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Dairy distribution in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certifications like ACCA, CMA, or CPA desirable.
• Advanced ERP expertise: SAP SD/FI modules.
• In-depth understanding of UAE VAT regulations, MS Excel, and modern trade claim settlements.

Responsibilities

• Directly leading a team of AR accountants and cashiers, mentoring and establishing KPIs.
• Overseeing credit evaluation, monitoring credit limits, payment terms, and sales order blocks/unblocks.
• Implementing targeted collection strategies, managing invoicing, debit/credit notes, and customer-related trade spend (listing fees, promotional rebates).
• Reconciling customer accounts, managing post-dated cheques (PDCs) under UAE laws, and driving ERP workflow automation in SAP.
• Preparing weekly/monthly AR aging reports, DSO analysis, and supporting internal/external audits.

Are you ready to take ownership of our receivables and turn strong credit control into healthy cash flow for our business? If so, you could become our new Accounts Receivable (AR) Lead for our UAE markets. In this challenging job you will work out of our Dubai office and you will report to our Head of Accounting within Finance & Accounting. As the new AR Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end receivables lifecycle for modern trade, traditional retail, food service (HORECA) and distribution channels across the UAE. You will ensure maximum cash flow, minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and bad debt risk, and manage customer reconciliations, while leading a team of AR accountants and cashiers in accordance with Arla standards.

You will be responsible for:
