An established industry player is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage the accounts payable process effectively. This role involves overseeing invoice processing, maintaining reconciliation reports, and assisting with financial closing procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, particularly within the fresh fruits and vegetables sector. You will also be responsible for building positive vendor relationships and ensuring timely resolution of payment issues. Qualifications

About the Client: A leading importer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables globally based in Dubai.

Job Description:

1. Assist in overseeing and managing the accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Assist in preparing and maintaining AP reconciliation reports, ensuring that accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.
3. Assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including ensuring the accurate recording of AP transactions.
4. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues.

Qualifications:

1. Open to Asian and Arabic nationality.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting.
3. With strong experience in the fruits and vegetables industry.
4. Must be proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIF) and IFRS16.
