Job summary

Alserkal is seeking an Accountant / Accounts Executive to join its Finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on daily operational finance, including payables, invoicing, and month-end close. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with IFRS, and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, 5+ years in accounting, supervisory experience, and strong Excel/ERP skills. You will work Monday–Friday with some overtime during busy periods at Alserkal's offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Experience with supplier invoices, payments, and month-end closing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, invoices, and payments.
• Oversee PR/PO processes and approvals.
• Lead month-end closing and IFRS-compliant reporting.
• Reconcile supplier statements and assist audits.
