Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts & Finance Officer to manage the company’s financial operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, proficiency in QuickBooks, and hands-on experience in VAT return and refund processes. This role requires a professional with a solid grasp of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process vendor payments and follow up on receivables
- Handle expense reports and staff reimbursements
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations (bank, intercompany, etc.)
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and coordinate VAT refund processes
- Assist with audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit and compliance purposes
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts and cash flow management
Banking & Finance Operations
- Manage online banking portals for payments, transfers, and reconciliations
- Handle banking documentation, KYC updates, and relationship management with financial institutions
Coordinate with auditors, external consultants, and tax advisors as needed

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- In-depth knowledge of VAT return and refund processes in the UAE
- Experience in audits, financial reconciliations, and reporting
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus
- Prior experience in a similar industry or SME environment
