A leading packaging services company in the UAE is looking for an Accounts and Finance Manager to manage financial operations in Dubai. This role involves overseeing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a dynamic finance team to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial regulations, and the ability to work under pressure.
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts and Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in managing accounts within the business. Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and standards. - Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to improve financial controls. - Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings. - Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts to support operational needs. - Lead and manage the finance team to meet organizational financial goals. - Collaborate with other departments to support business activities and growth. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred. - Proven experience as an Accounts and Finance Manager or similar role in Trading or Logistics industry is a plus. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounting standards, financial regulations, and UAE tax laws. - Proficient in accounting software or ERP system and MS Office, especially MS Excel. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders. - High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
