Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in a trading or distribution company, preferably in the UAE.

Job Description

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and cash flow tracking.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including accurate computation, return filing, and timely payments.
• Assist in UAE Corporate Tax filing, maintaining proper documentation and compliance with FTA regulations.
• Coordinate with banks for LC/trade finance documentation and related accounting.
• Manage inventory costing, landed cost calculations, and margin analysis in coordination with procurement and logistics teams.
• Monitor receivables, follow up on collections, and maintain accurate customer/vendor ledgers.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Support external audits with timely submission of required data and clarifications.
• Identify opportunities to automate reports and improve financial processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in a trading or distribution company, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9/Tally Prime or Odoo is essential.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and Corporate Tax regulations, including filing procedures.
• Solid understanding of inventory, cost control, and trading/distribution-related finance workflows.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, SME environment.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Excel and report generation is an advantage.
