Job summary

IFZA Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the day-to-day accounting and tax activities within the Shared Service Center in Dubai. You will drive financial oversight, client service, and process improvements while mentoring a team of accountants and team leaders.

You will ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements, manage reporting cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to deliver accurate, timely financial insights for licensees and

Qualifications

Qualified CA/ACCA with strong accounting background.
Excellent English communication; additional languages a plus.
Strong IFRS knowledge and UAE VAT/corporate tax understanding.
Proven project management skills and process-oriented mindset.
Experience supervising and developing a team of 6+ accountants.

Responsibilities

Oversee client accounting and tax reporting processes.
Coordinate preparation and review of accounting reports, tax filings, and compliance documents.
Lead onboarding of new clients and drive process improvements.
Supervise junior staff, allocate workloads, and provide performance feedback.
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing; track budgets and costs.
Stay updated on tax laws and accounting standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
Collaborate across departments on cross-functional projects.
