Position: Paymaster / General Cashier

We are on the lookout for a REDtabulous Paymaster aka General Cashier to join our incredible Finance team here @Radisson RED.

What we expect from you :

Main Duties :

1. File all General Ledger Reports.
2. Empties vending machines of coins; deposits and records all money.
3. Issue and receive all house floats to safeguard and control funds distributed to employees for hotel use.
4. Ensure all house banks are counted monthly and discrepancies are reported to the Chief Accountant.
5. Ensure all money and checks are deposited with the bank by a security company.
6. Verify the accuracy of deposit envelopes.
7. Maintain own float at the statutory amount.
8. Update foreign currency exchange rates used in the hotel.
9. Process the monthly authorized payroll and prepare final pay.
10. Analyze payroll reports for discrepancies and report to the Lead Creative Coach.
11. Prepare and submit payroll journals for month-end.
12. Ensure correct deductions are made for advances, loans, etc.
13. Maintain accurate employee payroll, vacation, and sickness records.
14. Complete cashier summaries and post cash journals.
15. Report and investigate over/short deposits, balancing cash with the General Ledger.
16. Reconcile tips paid and payable.
17. Meet all financial reporting deadlines as per ECOMAN and Lead Finance guidelines.
18. Comply with laws related to accounting and tax regulations.
19. Display a positive attitude and promote a good company image.
20. Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
