Reporting to Financial Controller, M.E, as Accounting Assistant you are expected to perform and support finance-related activities related to Financial Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Group Re, Planning, FinOps and Performance Management. Ensure that all tasks and procedures are completed to achieve key business objectives and efficient stakeholder management internally and externally.

Job Accountabilities

As Accounting Assistant, your role will involve :

  • Performs close related ledger tasks, e. g. accruals, provisions, balance sheet reconciliations, and journals postings as per local requirements.
  • Conducts administrative activities, e.g. employee pension plan support and credit card related tasks.
  • Preparing financial survey and analysis.
  • Preparing expense analysis of allocated cost centres.
  • Provides required support on treasury related administrative and accounting tasks.
  • Prepares, updates, and maintains assigned reports and databases.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that accounting, finance-related activities, vendor, data inventory processes, and procedures are followed and completed in line with Group as well as external requirements.
  • Recommends and implements procedural process changes to enhance operating efficiency.

Job Qualifications
