Scope and Purpose:
- To provide management, financial, and accounting information for financial accountability, including documenting, tracking companies' expenses, and preparing, analyzing, and verifying financial statements.
- To assist in financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.
- Day-to-day maintenance of books of accounts.
Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:
- Accounting responsibilities for booking supplier invoices and processing travel expenses of traveling staff.
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of books of accounts.
- Assist in creating, monitoring, and updating financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with travel bookings and records.
- Assist with booking branch accounting tasks.
- Bookkeeping of accounting documents and other contracts, customer and supplier ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain petty cash accounting.
- Assist with audit tasks for timely and smooth completion of audits.
- Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (such as VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
- Perform other routine accounting tasks.
