A healthcare management organization in Dubai seeks a finance professional to assist with day-to-day financial reporting and management accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a finance role and will hold or be working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA or CPA. Effective communication skills are essential for navigating demanding situations. The role requires on-site work and includes managing financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and supporting audits.
Assist the Finance Manager with all day-to-day financial reporting and management accounting functions for all designated sites.
Assist with the month end process for all designated areas of the P&L and balance sheet, providing suitable reporting and additional analysis, in an accurate and timely manner.
Develop working relationships with applicable staff at all sites and within the finance team to ensure all necessary information flows operate to enable production of the management accounts.
Contribute to the process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects of the accounting and reporting functions.
Assist with the budgets and forecasts for the different sites across healthcare and education.
Review trends, compare actual performance against budgets, and provide detailed support for any significant variances across the healthcare and education businesses.
Assist with any day-to-day issues within the wider department. In charge of reconciliation processes, insurance, banking and payroll.
Ensure revenue recognition is accurate by monitoring the healthcare management software.
Work closely on VAT submissions at quarterly reporting.
Support year end audit process, liaising and maintaining regular dialogue with internal and external audit throughout the financial year.
Prepare and agree presentation materials and financial data for use in financial presentations.
Contribute to the process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects of the finance and reporting functions.
Produce routine and ad hoc analysis and reports as required and support ad hoc project work, in line with function business requirements.
Experience: Sound, demonstrable previous experience within a finance function.
The role holder will sometimes be dealing with demanding and difficult situations, which require highly developed and well-practiced communication and interpersonal skills.

Shared responsibility for the confidentiality, security and accuracy of patient records, data and information. Ensuring good quality documentation, which meets the Regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
All colleagues have a responsibility to protect and safeguard vulnerable individuals at risk (whether children or adults). Colleagues must be aware of local child and adult protection procedures and who to contact within the Local Authority Safeguarding team for further advice. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding awareness training and to undertake additional training appropriate to their role.

The role holder will hold a full accounting qualification or be part qualified and in the process of completing their qualification ACCA, CPA, CMA.
