Job description

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding real estate brokerage firm based in Dubai. Known for their energetic team and fast-paced environment, they are now looking for a proactive and experienced Accountant to join their finance department and support their growth. This role goes beyond basic accounting. You’ll play a key role in managing commissions, working closely with sales agents and property developers to ensure timely and accurate financial coordination. Responsibilities - Track, verify and manage commissions due to/from agents and developers, ensuring timely disbursements and collections. - Handle daily accounting tasks including customer invoices, receipts and aging reports. - Monitor supplier accounts and process vendor invoices and payments. - Maintain up-to-date AR/AP ledgers with complete documentation and approvals. - Prepare and file VAT returns in line with UAE FTA regulations. - Manage payroll processing, including salary transfers and end-of-service benefits as per UAE labor law. - Assist in monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reviews. - Support financial reporting, budget tracking and audit preparation.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field. - 2–4 years of UAE-based accounting experience, with proven experience in a Real Estate Brokerage firm. - Strong knowledge of Real Estate commission structures and workflows. - Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and payroll processes. - Familiarity with RERA regulations is a plus. - Proficient in accounting software and strong Excel skills. - High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills in English.
