Job Description

Accounting Duties:

  • Manage daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations, contributing to streamlined operations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments to maintain positive cash flow and vendor relations.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations to facilitate audits.
  • Utilize accounting software and tools to enhance data accuracy and improve reporting efficiency, adapting to new technologies as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service that reflects the company's values.
  • Record and maintain financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, invoices, and tax filings.
  • Handle petty cash and employee reimbursements.
  • Maintain and update financial records and documents.
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Front Office Duties:

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and manage correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and keep the reception area organized.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage office calendars.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document handling.
  • Support HR and management with clerical work as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, providing a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting and front office roles, demonstrating a blend of financial acumen and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel, ensuring accurate financial data management and analysis.
  • Certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly preferred, showcasing a commitment to professional development and expertise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing flexibility and collaboration in a dynamic workplace.
